I love the spring and summer months, that is when I can get all the fresh yummy berries I enjoy so much. I just never really knew all the benefits that they have for our overall health. I wanted to share these benefits with you.

Strawberries! Helps aid us in managing our weight, very good for helping you to maintain the health of your skin, really good for the health of your heart, and strawberries are an excellent source of vitamin C.

Bilberry! I have to be honest, I have never heard of this berry. Bilberries are very rich in antioxidants, also great for your heart health, great for your eye health, and last but not least protect the liver.

Blackberry! I enjoy blackberries in my protein shakes. Blackberries are very healthy for your heart, they are known to be heart protective, healthy for our hair. One huge benefit is that it is known to be effective in reducing inflammation, and is a great source of potassium.

Gooseberry! Never been a fan of this one, but has great benefits for our bodies. This is another great berry for your eye health (improves eyesight), great for hair growth, helps with digestion, and a really good one is that it can reduce blood sugar.

Goji Berry! I have never tried this berry, going to have to give it a try. Goji berries are great in helping increase your energy level, good for skin and hair, boost your immune system, and detoxifies.

Blueberry! I love blueberries and have 4 what I call bushes, I enjoy making shakes and jams with them. Blueberries are very rich in antioxidants, helps with digestion, another berry that promotes healthy eyes, and for us, ladies reduce belly fat (for men also).

Raspberry! I use these in shakes, not a big raspberry fan, but they do have great health benefits. Raspberries are great for our bones, helps with weight loss, antioxidants, and for us ladies anti-aging properties.

Elderberry! Yet another berry I have yet to try, I seem to be missing out. Elderberries boost energy levels as well as our immune system, reduces inflammation, and as most berries antioxidants.

Cranberry! Big fan of cranberries, more juice than the berry itself. Cranberries, as we know, helps with urinary tract infections, nice and high in fiber, and also helps with inflammation.

Acai Berry! My favorite flavor in the Outshine Frozen Fruit Bars. Acai berries are high in antioxidants, the health of your shin, they give a nice energy boost, and helps with digestion
